How should I come to my appointment?
I love a prepared guest!
For bang trims: Please come with your hair down, dry and detangled, minimal clips (nothing that will put a kink in your bangs)
For haircuts: Please come with your hair detangled.
For color: please come with hair that is dry and detangled. It doesn’t need to be freshly washed, but remember I wont be washing your hair until *after* I apply the color, so please do not come with hair that is dirty. Hair that is too greasy/dirty can affect the hair color. If your hair is too dirty to proceed with the color I will have to wash your hair first which can take time away from our service.
For all services coming in with your hair detangled is important, extreme knots may incur an extra time charge if it takes more than 10 minutes to detangle your hair.
What do I do if I’m running late?
It happens! Don’t stress too much & a heads up is always appreciated. If you are running late, please text 971.266.3953 and let me know. I do have a 10 minute grace period, anything beyond that isn't guaranteed that you will be able to keep your appointment that day. Missed appointments because of lateness can result in a late fee (50-100% of the service)
What if I need to cancel?
I value your time and ask that you value mine as well. Appointments may be rescheduled or canceled through the online booking system or by contacting me directly (you can text or email).
24-Hour Notice Required
Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours notice will result in a 100% charge of the scheduled service.
I understand that emergencies and sudden illness happen. In these rare circumstances, please contact me as soon as possible, and the cancellation fee may be waived at my discretion.
Can I bring a friend?
I understand it’s great to have someone with you especially with a big change, but please limit bringing extra people to the space. In special circumstances please communicate that before hand. I work in a shared space and we are limited on space.
Kids in the salon?
Though it is not available online to book, I do offer kids cuts but under these guidelines
If your child is under 13 please reach out to me first
Your child must be able to sit for the duration of their appointment
Your child’s hair should be detangled prior to their appointment; if it takes beyond 10 minutes to detangle there may be an extra time charge added to the appointment
Please be present to assist if your child is having a ‘tough day’
I also understand that childcare arrangements can sometimes be challenging. You're welcome to bring your child to your appointment with the following considerations:
As I work in a shared space with other stylists who don't offer children's services, please ensure your child can sit quietly and entertain themselves throughout your appointment.
For everyone's comfort:
If your child is using electronic devices, please bring headphones
Any toys should be quiet and contained to your area
I operate on a scheduled timeline, and service interruptions may impact both your appointment and those of clients who follow you
What if I don’t love my hair after the appointment?
Due to the product used in your service I do not offer refunds, however I am always beyond happy to have you in for any adjustments. I have a 2 week window to reach out if you need anything adjusted. Rework appointments are always complimentary. I take a lot of pride in delivering you the best service I can so if you need anything tweaked at all please do not hesitate to reach out.
